- Take 4 lemons, peel them in a bowl ,( the zest not the white bits,
- add 100g or 4 oz of fine white sugar.
- top up with 750ml boiling water.
- Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar is disolved.
- leave to cool.
- when cool, sieve out the bits of peel
- add squeezed lemon juice
- store in the fridge until ready to use.
PS you could add some sparkle in it by diluting with sparkling water when you serve.

sounds great, I used to make lemonade too, you can also make ginger beer the same way. I was allowed to ferment mine for three days to make it fizzy, not alchohollic, as my mother always had the yeast and what not.
