A work in progress towards living a sustainable life, healthy life, making a living and creating a life, leaving smaller footprints on the earth. It is my hope that the smaller footsteps will gain momentum and leave large imprints of conscious living to enable our children to enjoy the beauty and abundance that surrounds us.

Sunshine
There is not a single thing you HAVE to do, but there is a whole host of to dos that might need doing when the sun shines.
The polytunnel is steaming and there is a real difference in the health of the plants. The cats and dog are out on the lawn, soaking up rays.....and there is a feeling that this is a precious moment. I am therefore not going to delay and take my book out there and sit in the shade, soaking up the warmth and goodness. I am not a pessimist by nature but boy have I missed the warmth in last few weeks. Off with the sweaters, back in shorts and T'shirt. In which other country can you currently experience all 4 seasons in one month? And best of all there is the laundry to catch up with..... I off to watch the laundry dry.

Down in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia it is said that you can experience all four seasons in one DAY. :-)
I hope that sunshine warms you right through to your bones.
Your plants look really healthy. In Illinois we are battling Japanese beetle and a general lack of rain.Having said that- something always does well- the blueberries
are in full swing.

Just took my first lot of completely dried outside washing in yesterday evening. Haven't been able to leave washing out long enough to dry completely since before the June bank holiday. It really is one of the best things ever.
Nature does balance itself out and some plants prefer drought and others rain. There is a lot to harvest on sunny days.
This has got to be the freakiwst summer ever. Heatwave in September I predict. (You watch, it'll snow!)
